Take action.

Three things you can do Picture: 'Storm for Reform' participants sounding off with pots and pans.

CONTACT THE GOVERNOR, YOUR STATE SENATORS, AND STATE REPRESENTATIVES AND TELL THEM TO SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY BOARD'S NEW RULES REGULATING SPECIAL INTEREST ELECTIONEERING.

The Government Accountabilty Board has approved new rules that, for the first time, subject special interest groups that do phony "issue ads" to the same financial disclosure rules that apply to candidates and others involved in political campaigns. These rules will be reviewed by the Legislature and will certainly be challenged by the opponents of disclosure. Urge the governor, your state senator and state representative to support these new rules.

Governor Doyle's mailing address is: Governor James Doyle, 115 East, State Capitol, Madison, WI 53702.

To write to your State Senator, the address is P.O. Box 7882, Madison, WI 53707-7882.

For members of the Assembly whose last names begin with the letters A through L, use P.O. Box 8952, Madison, WI 53708. For Assembly members whose names begin with M through Z, use P.O. Box 8953, Madison, WI 53708.
