Assembly Bill 392

On April 27, 2005, AB 392 was introduced by ten representatives and co-sponsored by five senators; it calls for campaign finance reform that includes public financing of state campaigns and full disclosure of campaign activity that restores Wisconsin's ban on corporate campaign contributions.

Assembly Joint Resolution 22

On March 10, 2005, a joint resolution was introduced that calls for the study and recommendation of legislation providing for redistricting by an independent citizens commission.

Senate Bill 1

On January 11, 2005, Senate Bill 1 was introduced with the aim to promote more vigorous enforcement of the state ethics code and Wisconsin's campaign finance laws by abolishing the state Elections Board and Ethics Board and replacing them with a more politically independent Government Accountability Board with expanded enforcement authority.
